Tasked with developing a painting studio for Artist/Architect Mac Ball of Waggoner & Ball this project, done entirely in analogue, is sited in the courtyard of Bevelo Gas and Lighting services in the heart of the French quarter. The project is elevated above the courtyard as to not inhibit on its limited footprint as well as optimizing northern exposure to create a diffusely lit environment ideal for painting and provide views of the city.
